That’s why Hive focuses on all elements of the college admissions process, all in one place. Applications, test prep, student loans, essay help, financial aid assistance, scholarships, etc. We want you to get answers to all your college questions.
Mission Statement
Our mission is to educate, collaborate, and celebrate with college bound undergraduate families navigating the admissions process. We believe that by empowering students to take responsibility for achieving their academic goals we can emphasize the importance of being able to afford the education of their dreams while utilizing scholarships to cover much, if not all, of the cost of tuition.
Meet Our Founder, Christen Arafeh
"I knew at a young age that I wanted to go to college, but I didn't realize how overwhelming the application process actually was. I was a first generation college student and I knew only two things about college: 1) I couldn't afford to pay for tuition and 2) I didn't want any part of taking out student loans.
Confession: I earned more than $900,000 in scholarships for my own education, essentially paying me to go to college. I've learned what works in the scholarship world, and what doesn't, and I want to share that with you. I saw the first hand the lack of support there was for college bound students trying to navigate the maze of college admissions. I founded this company as a way to help you get the knowledge you need to feel confident about making those big decisions about your education and your future."
