March brings you to the middle of the spring semester and while it does seem like a long month, there are a lot of March scholarships available for senior high school students planning to go to college.

Ready to submit your application to scholarships with deadlines in March? Here's our list of 15 and we suggest you go for all of these scholarships where you meet the eligibility criteria.

GBHEM Scholarships administers scholarship programs with one general application. Criteria for each scholarship program varies. For general scholarships, applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents and be an active member of the United Methodist Church.

Award Amount:  $1,250

Deadline: March 9

The HEK Youth Encouragement Scholarship is for graduating Seniors or Early Graduate high school students that plan to attend a college, university, vocational, or trade school to further their educational and career goals in the fall.

This is a Texas based organization and all applications will be reviewed, however priority will be given to Texas Residents living in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and connecting counties. Applicants must have at least a 2.0 GPA and ten hours of community service.

Award Amount:  $2,500

Deadline: March 11

Staying true to its mission of bringing assistance to young adults in need, the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults established the James and Patricia Sood Scholarship. James and Patricia Sood were dedicated teachers who both lived a life full of love as a couple and a courageous one as the couple battled cancer together. Until the end, the couple were dedicated mentors to those who shared the same passion for learning and reading.

The scholarship is open to young adults who are affected with cancer personally or through a direct loved one. In order to apply for the scholarship, the individual must only submit one general application to the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults.

In order to be eligible for this specific scholarship however, the applicant must be a US citizen aged 15 to 39 years of age. The applicant must be attending a university or a college while pursuing a degree in Education.

Award Amount:  $14,500

This scholarship is for high school seniors and college students interested in careers related to the precast concrete industry. For more than two decades, the National Precast Concrete Association (NPCA)Foundation has provided educational scholarships to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in civil engineering, architectural and construction-related curricula. The Foundation's mission is to support the growth and enhance the development of the precast concrete industry by providing opportunities using educational initiatives and incentives.

Applications are open to anyone who will be enrolled in a certificate program or an undergraduate program at an academic institution for the next academic year following the application deadline. The applicant’s course of study should be in an academic field related to the building, construction or precast concrete industry. Applicants must be enrolled in a certificate program or a two-year or four-year degree program. The academic institution may be either a four-year college, a community college or a vocational school with a recognized related course of study.

Award Amount:  $10,000

Deadline: March 12

Lockheed Martin will award up to 200 renewable scholarships of $10,000 each. Applicants to the Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship Program must meet the following eligibility requirements:
1. U.S. citizen.
2. Demonstrated financial need.
3. High school senior with a 2.5 or above GPA OR a freshman or a sophomore undergraduate student with a 2.5 or above GPA.  
4. Current or planned 4-year degree enrollment in the following majors: Aerospace Engineering,  Computer Engineering,  Computer Science,  Electrical Engineering,  Electrical and Computer Engineering,  Industrial Engineering,  Mathematics,  Mechanical Engineering, and  Physics
5. Current or planned full-time attendance at an accredited U.S. four-year college or university
6. Interest in a paid internship with Lockheed Martin following their freshman, sophomore or junior year of college, other circumstances notwithstanding (note: the internship is not required to receive a scholarship, and scholarship recipients are not guaranteed an internship)

The scholarship program doesn’t end with a check. Mentoring opportunities will be a key component of the program, and recipients will also be eligible for Lockheed Martin internship opportunities following their freshman, sophomore or junior year in college.

Deadline: March 12

Incoming freshmen or current, full-time undergraduate students at a four-year college/university in the upcoming academic year are eligible to apply for the Shui Kuen and Allen Chin Scholarship. Applicants must be a student or parent currently/formerly employed at an Asian-owned or Asian cuisine restaurant and demonstrate community advocacy and social justice work on behalf of Asian American, immigrant, gay and lesbian and/or other progressive causes. A minimum 3.0 GPA is required as well as demonstrated financial need.

Award Amount:  $2,500 to $10,000

Deadline: March 15

The David R. Parsley Scholarship Fund for Supply Chain Management was created to encourage students to pursue food-service supply chain management careers. Awards range from $2,500 to $10,000, and are for undergraduate students.  All scholarship applicants must be:
1. Enrolled or accepted as a full time or part time undergraduate student at an accredited post-secondary institution, college, or university for the upcoming academic year
2. Majoring in an undergraduate level restaurant, foodservice, or hospitality-related program  
3. Plan to be enrolled for at least two consecutive undergraduate terms or on track to complete an undergraduate degree within one term  
4. Unrelated to any employees or family members of the National Restaurant Association, National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation, any state restaurant association  

Award Amount:  Up to $6,000 ($1,500 per year)

Deadline: March 15

This annual scholarship is provided by BMW AG in recognition of its commitment to excellence in engineering. This scholarship is in support of the SAE Foundation to ensure an adequate supply of well-trained engineers for the future.  One scholarship will be awarded each year for $1,500 per year. Scholarships may be renewed at $1,500 a year for three (3) additional years. Applicants must be U.S. residents with a minimum 3.75 GPA and rank in the 90th percentile in both math and critical reading on SAT I or composite ACT scores.

Award Amount:  $10,000

Deadline: March 15

ScholarshipPoints awards one $10,000 scholarship every quarter of the year exclusively to members. There is no essay required. Simply sign up to be automatically entered into the scholarship.

Eligibility Requirements:
1.  Must be thirteen (13) years of age or older on the date of entry
2. Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident of the fifty (50) united States or District of Columbia  
3. Must be currently attending (or planning to attend) a college located in the United States

Award Amount:  $2,000

Deadline: March 17

Dominion Credit Union is offering a scholarship to its student members or their families. Eligible applicants must be graduating high school seniors, have a 2.5 GPA, and plan on attending an accredited college or university during the upcoming academic year.

Award Amount:  $1,000

Deadline: March 20

The CMP seeks applications from high school seniors who currently compete in marksmanship competitions. The scholarships are one-year awards that may be used to fund any accredited secondary education or vocational program. CMP Scholarships may also be used to pursue a post-secondary education during the upcoming school year.

To be eligible for CMP scholarships, juniors must be a U.S. Citizen of good moral character and have achieved a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average. Must be a graduating high school senior and demonstrate acceptance to a university, college or trade school leading to a diploma or trade certification and demonstrate marksmanship competition experience.

Award Amount:  $10,000

The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences sponsors programs, seminars, and scholarships for high school and colleges in cities served by the 19 local chapters and awards scholarships to outstanding high school seniors who intend to pursue a bachelor's degree in communications with an emphasis on any aspect of the television industry.

Individuals who qualify for the PCMA Foundation Scholars Program are undergraduate students who will be enrolled at any university and who are interested in a career in the business events industry. The program awards up to five undergraduate students.

Award Amount:  $10,000

The Korean American Community Foundation of San Francisco is committed to improving the quality of life in the Bay Area’s Korean American community and empowering the next generation of Korean American leaders. Through the Karen Ha Scholarship, we provide financial assistance and mentorship opportunities to talented but under-resourced students attending in-state public colleges or universities as undergraduates.

Those enrolling as freshmen are eligible for a $10,000 award ($2,500 per year, up to four years), while those transferring from community colleges are eligible for a $5,000 award ($2,500 per year, up to two years).

All active, U.S.-based employees of Yum!, Yum Connect, PH Connect, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell or KFC and legal dependents* of those employees who meet the following criteria are eligible to apply:  
1. Have a minimum of 6 months continuous active employment and have worked on average at least 15 hours per week between September 10, 2021 and July 2022.  
2. Are high school seniors or graduates, have earned their GED, plan to enroll or are currently enrolled in full-time or part-time (3 credit units or more) course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, vocational-technical school or graduate school.  
3 Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent) as of the application date.

Award Amount:  $2,500

Deadline: March 26

The U.S. Tennis Association (USTA) Foundation focuses on serving under-resourced youth.

The USTA Foundation awards scholarships to high school seniors who participate in organized youth tennis programs, demonstrate significant financial need, perform community/volunteer service, and who have a minimum 3.0 GPA.  

Each recipient of a USTA Foundation scholarship is expected to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student as defined by his/her undergraduate institution, no later than the opening fall semester or term after notice of selection for the scholarship.  

Applicants receiving full grant and aid scholarships in the sport of tennis from their respective schools are not eligible for a USTA Foundation scholarship.

Good Samaritan Foundation is honored to have awarded more than $200,000 in financial support to local scholars. With 6 scholarship funds available, the Foundation is able to provide much-needed assistance for traditional and non-traditional students pursuing degrees in various fields of health care.

Applicants for all Good Samaritan Foundation scholarships must demonstrate financial need, have a minimum GPA of 3.0, and pursue a field of study in an area of healthcare where a need has been identified by Good Samaritan Administration. Individual scholarship criteria varies.

The Lighthouse Guild believes that nothing should stop people who are blind or visually impaired from pursuing higher education—especially the cost. To help, they offer merit-based scholarships for students with vision loss who are newly transitioning to college or graduate education.

Each year, the Lighthouse Guild offers up to 20 scholarships for outstanding high school students who are legally blind from across the United States. They also provide an annual scholarship to at least one qualifying graduate student.  

The award is unrestricted, so it can be used as needed: for tuition, room and board, books, supplies, or travel.

Welders are in demand, there are far fewer welders than there are welding job opportunities, meaning the salary in the market is continuously rising! At Welding Near You, we are passionate about education and hard work. We understand that some students who are dedicated to their education and work hard to provide themselves with a better future need some financial help to attend the school of their dreams. That is why we proudly provide the Welding Near You Support Scholarship for excellence in academics. The scholarship amount is $1000 and it will be awarded to one student for their education expenses.  

Applicants must be currently attending or planning to attend a college or university, must be in good academic standing with your current educational institution, and must have a minimum 3.0 GPA. For applicants under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.  

All applicants must apply to the contest via email/name and provide your name and the name of the institution. Applicants are asked to write a minimum 1,200-word essay addressing the following topic: "How to change jobs when you are unsure about your next career move?"
