If you are hoping to attend college  and pursue higher education, you should know that many of the top rated, high dollar financial assistance options either open their applications or have deadlines in the fall so the winners can be announced in the spring before graduation.

Description: The applicant must have successfully completed an AAUW International Fellowship, all reporting requirements for the fellowship, and the academic program for which they received the fellowship by June 30 and be a citizen of a country other than the United States. The project must be implemented in the applicant's home country and have a direct, positive impact on women and girls. Description: To be eligible for the AGC Graduate Scholarship, applicants must: be legal US residents; and, be a college senior planning to enroll or enrolled as a part-time or full-time student in an accredited masters'/doctoral construction management or construction engineering programs for the upcoming fall (applicants must have at least one full academic year remaining at the time of application deadline).

Description: Eligible applicants must: be legal US residents; be enrolled full-time; and, be a rising college sophomore, junior in a four-year program or rising senior in a five-year program at the time the scholarship is awarded in the upcoming fall (junior and senior level applicants must have one full academic year of coursework remaining at the time of application deadline; second-year students at a two-year school who are planning to transfer to a four-year program are also eligible to apply).

Description: Eligible applicants must: be legal US residents; be enrolled full-time; and, be a rising college sophomore, junior in a four-year program or rising senior in a five-year program at the time the scholarship is awarded in the upcoming fall (junior and senior level applicants must have one full academic year of coursework remaining at the time of application deadline; second-year students at a two-year school who are planning to transfer to a four-year program are also eligible to apply).

Description:  Eligible applicants must either: be planning for conservation (involves documentation including photography and digital applications, assessment of significance and condition, and drawing up a conservation plan in coordination with the local authorities); be doing conservation interventions (physical hands-on treatments, materials and labor); be doing preventative measures (reburial, shelters, fences, walkways, water management [drainage, flood prevention]); be monitoring and maintaining sites; be training personnel in conservation and site management; or, be doing public outreach and education.

Award Amount:  $3,000

Description:  Applicant must be a graduating Arizona high school senior, a current athlete in an organized sporting team (e.g., high school, local public or private club, recreational league or other formal organizations) and must plan to attend an Arizona college or university. Must have 3.0 of 4.0 or higher cumulative GPA.

Description:  The ENF Emergency Educational Grant program provides financial assistance to children of deceased or totally disabled Elks, who wish to obtain or further their college education. In order to apply, the Elk parent or stepparent must have been a member in good standing for at least one year at the time of his or her death or the Elk parent or stepparent must have been a member in good standing for at least one year before he or she became totally disabled and must continue to be an Elk in good standing when applying for assistance. Applicants must be able to demonstrate financial need.

Award Amount:  $2,000

Description:  Packaging Compliance Labs is offering a scholarship for packaging engineers for Winter 2021. The winner will be awarded a $2,000 scholarship towards their packaging engineering education. This scholarship is available for packaging engineering college students who are enrolled in any college/university with a packaging engineering program.

Description:  The All-Star eSports League offers the Sportsmanship in eSports Scholarship to high school students involved in esports, such as League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, or Overwatch.

Description:  One $5,000 scholarship is awarded annually to the winning candidate to attend an accredited qualifying higher education institution of their choice.

Description:  Each year the WTS Colorado Chapter supports exceptional young women as they pursue careers in the transportation industry by awarding six local scholarships. Each WTS Colorado scholarship winner is automatically entered for consideration for the WTS International Scholarship award.

Description:  Eligible candidates for The Dr. Lorraine G. Spranzo Memorial Scholarship will be exemplary graduate students matriculated in an accredited graduate program in a Connecticut college or university, or a Connecticut resident matriculated in an accredited graduate nursing program out of state; or doctoral candidates (PhD, DNP or EdD). Applicants must be residents of Hartford County, Connecticut.

Description:  Applicants must be Cuban or of direct Cuban descent, have a minimum 3.5 GPA, and demonstrate financial need. Applicants must file the FAFSA as part of their application.

Description:  This annual international competition is open exclusively to undergraduate and graduate college students involved in retail planning, design, visual merchandising, branding, and similar programs. The students with the Top 5 Concepts will receive $1,000 each.

Description:  Applicants must be of American Indian, Alaska Native, or Native Hawaiian descent (student must show documentation) and must be a high school senior or a student accepted into an accredited higher education institution at the time of application. Must submit a letter of acceptance from a college/university or technical/vocational institution and must be enrolled as a part-time or full-time student. Scholarships are available for undergraduate and graduate students only and must be used for books and/or tuition.

Description:  Applicants must be nominated by their cross country coach. Each high school that is a member of the New Castle County Cross Country and Track Coaches Association (N5CTA) may nominate one male and one female high school senior.

Description:  Essay Submission must be 500-1,000 words and all 3 questions must be answered. Applicant must be residing in and studying in the United States (citizenship status not a factor) and must be either an incoming or current college student, studying full-time. There is no age limit for applicants, as long as they meet the aforementioned criteria.

Description:  We will give away one scholarship to a non medical student interested in improving physician lives, and one scholarship to a diverse student interested in studying the connection between racism and burnout. Our goal is to support people who are working to improve physician lives and help reduce the physician student loan burden.

Description:  Applicant must be a high school senior graduating the same academic year the scholarship is awarded. Must be a resident of one of the following California counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Lake, Marin, Monterey, Napa, Sacramento, San Benito, San Francisco, San Joaquin, San Mateo, Santa Cruz, Santa Clara, Solano, Sonoma, Stanislaus, or Yolo.

Description:  Applicants must be students who are enrolled and attending their senior year of high school in the U.S. or territories, or are a U.S. citizen studying abroad.

Description:  Eligible applicants must: be a citizen or permanent resident of the United States; be a resident of Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, or Wyoming and a high school senior; earn a minimum SAT Math score of 490 and a minimum Evidence-Based Reading & Writing score of 490 or a minimum ACT score of 18 in each category (writing score not required); have a 3.0 GPA; and, demonstrate financial need.

Description:  Applicants must be of Hispanic or Latino descent and be a rising High School Senior. Applicants must plan to enroll in college in the fall after high school graduation, have a minimum 3.0 GPA (on a 4.0 scale) or 7.5 (on a 10.0 scale) and be a U.S. citizen, legal permanent resident or DACA eligible.

Award Amount:  $10,000

Description:  Eligible applicants must be African-American, have a 3.0 GPA, be a legal US resident, and be either a sophomore, junior, or master's-level student.

Description:  Applicants must have earned the equivalent of a U.S. bachelor’s degree by the application deadline, and must have applied to their proposed institutions of study by the time of the application. Up to five International Master’s/First Professional Degree Fellowships are renewable for a second year; fellows will receive application information for this competitive program.

Description:  Applicant must be a female who rovides the primary financial support for herself and her dependents. Dependents can include children, spouse, partner, siblings and/or parents. Must be able to demonstrate financial need, be enrolled in or have been accepted to a vocational/skills training program or an undergraduate degree program and motivated to achieve her education and career goals.

Description:  Applicants should be classified as a non-Florida resident for tuition purposes by our February Decision Day. Past recipients have typically fallen within the upper range of the middle 50% of our admitted student profile or above, combined with a diverse and engaged resume and essay response.

Description:  To be eligible for this award, applicants must be enrolled in a college, university, or post-secondary institution in the academic year following the announcement of scholarship winners and be in pursuit of an undergraduate degree; pursue a STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) major; and belong to a historically underrepresented population/group such as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, and People of Color), members of the LGBTQ2+ community, people with disabilities, veterans, and first-generation college students.

Description:  High School students who are U. S. citizens or lawful residents can hone their speaking skills while learning about the U.S. Constitution. Department level scholarship awards range from $800 to $1500, with Zone runner-ups receiving $200. At the National level, they range from $15,000 to $20,000.

Description:  High School seniors may compete for college scholarships at the Chick and Sophie Major Memorial Duck Calling Contest. A copy of the contestants high school transcript must be provided at registration along with a proper ID.

Description:  Eligible students are those who 1) are self-identified as Black, Indigenous, and/or a Person of Color, 2) live in Utah, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, or a Tribal Nation in the region, and 3) are enrolled at least half-time as an undergraduate at a college, university, technical school, or vocational institution in the Spring 2021 academic year.

Award Amount:  $1,000

Deadline: November 29, 2021

Description:  Eligible students are those who 1) are self-identified as Black, Indigenous, and/or a Person of Color, 2) live in Utah, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, or a Tribal Nation in the region, and 3) are enrolled at least half-time as an undergraduate at a college, university, technical school, or vocational institution in the Spring 2021 academic year.

Award Amount:  $5,000

Deadline: November 30, 2021

Description:  To be eligible for the Kaiser Permanente Northern California Medical Student Scholarship, applicants must: be a current third-year medical student in good academic standing who expects to graduate in the spring of 2022; be seeking a residency in Northern California; and, attend an accredited medical, osteopathic or podiatry school. Recipients will be encouraged to participate in a one-month clerkship at a Kaiser Permanente facility in Northern California during their fourth year of medical school.

Award Amount:  $3,000

Description:  Applicants must be registered as a student at the graduate or undergraduate level in a college or university during the most recent calendar year and not have a previously-earned doctoral degree.

Description:  Applicant must be a high school senior accepted to an accredited college or university or a student currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, have a minimum of a 3.0 weighted GPA and be in pursuit of a degree in the medical field. Must have 2 academic or professional references and submit a 500-800 word essay responding to the prompt: "Why are you pursuing an education and career in the medical field, and what motivates you to learn more about medicine?"
